Nothing exciting, just busy…………………………………………

As always, first the chronology:

04/13/25 – Sunday – Up around 8AM. Out to church with Kathy. Home and lunch. Took a half hour nap then out to Gary’s for the Sunday afternoon get together. Home and picked up Kathy. Up to the Yoki Buffet for dinner with the Rice family. Home and usual evening routine.

04/14/25 – Monday – Up at 6AM. Off to work. Manned the door at the Circuit Court Clerks office from 7:30AM to 4PM with an hour off to have lunch with the wife. Home and a Smart Meal for dinner. Up to Taylorsville State Park for a POTA outing with the HAM club. Home and 1/2 mile on the tread mill then bed.

04/15/25 – Tuesday – Up at 7:30AM. Did some chores around the house and got cleaned up. Then out to Shelbyville for physical therapy at 11:30. Finished at 12:30, home and lunch. Then up to Dr. Stephenson to get shots in my knees. Hom and dinner. Usual evening routine.

04/16/25 – Wednesday – Up at 6AM and off to work. Worked the handicap entrance to the main court house from 8AM to 3:30PM with an hour off for lunch. Home and took a nap. Had dinner then the usual evening routine.

04/17/25 – Thursday – Up at 6AM and off to work. Worked the door at the Circuit Court Clerks office from 7:30AM to 4PM with an hour off for lunch. Home, dinner and usual evening routine.

04/18/25 – Friday – Up at 6AM and off to work. Opened the court room in the annex at 8AM. Court didn’t start till 9AM and was over by 10AM. Short Docket. Home and lunch. Took a 1/2 hour nap then up and over to Shelbyville to get my new glass then do PT. Home and dinner. Usual evening routine.

04/19/25 – Saturday – Up at 7:30AM. Did my Saturday morning routine. Did a 1/2 mile on the tread mill. Then out to the Morton building to start work. Got the mower deck cleaned up. Got the plow blade and the chains off the D170 and got the mower deck put on. Did some mowing. Kathy did much more mowing than I did. Didn’t get it all done but it was very thick and this was the first cut of the year. I think the D170 blew a gasket. Need to look at that later. Took a break for lunch and quit about 5:30. In and dinner then cleaned up. Usual evening routine.

Now the specifics:

Had a busy week at work. The guy that hired on with me went to the academy this week and he work Monday and Friday on the door. So I did his Monday then we had Circuit court on Wednesday with a couple hearings then drug court in the afternoon. I worked my usual Thursday shift on the door then District court on Friday. Everyone was winding down for the Easter weekend so it was done and we were out by 10AM.

Monday night we had a Parks On The Air (POTA) event at Taylorsville Lake. 5 from the HAM club showed up and it was good seeing people.

Got shots in my knees this Tuesday. Really made a difference. I was able to do some things on Friday that I hadn’t done in some time.
