A very interesting week……………………………………………………………………..

As always, first the chronology:

8/24/25 – Sunday – Up around 8AM and off to church with Kathy. Home and lunch. Short nap then off to Gary’s for the afternoon get together. Home, picked up Kathy and up to Bob Evan’s for dinner. Home and usual evening routine.

8/25/25 – Monday – Up at 6AM and off to work. Worked the handicap entrance to the main court house from 8AM till about 1PM. Home and lunch. Nap then up and chores around the house. Then down to the shack to setup my computer for FT-8 with my QRP rig. Dinner, more computer work then bed.

8/26/25 – Tuesday – Up at 7AM. Kathy was already gone to run kids around and go to a dermatology appointment. I went down for my hair cut at 9AM. Home and started the yard work. Took a break around noon for lunch. Back out and worked till 3PM. In and a nap till about 4:30. In the shower. Kathy came home while I was in the shower. We had dinner then usual evening routine.

8/27/25 – Wednesday – Up at around 8AM. There was a low battery indicator on one of the alarm sensors. Spwnt some time locating that. Had an early lunch then off to the shooting range. Qualified at the range with the Sheriff’s Office. Home and continued working on the alarm system. Had dinner then cleaned my gun.

8/28/25 – Thursday – Up at 6AM and off to work. Worked the door at the Circuit Court Clerk’s office from 7:30 AM to 4 PM with an hour break for lunch. Home and changed clothes. Took Kathy into Taylorsville to Hometown pizza for dinner. Home and usual evening routine.

8/29/25 – Friday – Up at 6AM and called into work. Sent a message off to the cardiologist’s office. Kathy went into Louisville for a doctor’s appointment. Cardiologist’s office called back and told me I should go to the emergency room. I got a shower till Kathy came home. Then we went to the emergency room at Brownsboro hospital. Spent the rest of the day and night there.

8/30/25 – Saturday – Continued to spend my time at the hospital.

Now the specifics:

Light week for work. Worked Monday for family court and Thursday on the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office. I was suppose to work District court on Friday but called in sick.

Had alarm issues. Alarm panel said sensor on basement window 3 was low. We only had 2 basement windows. In the end we found they added a sensor to the double door arrangement with one side that doesn’t really open and called it window 3. Changed that and all is good.

Did my annual qualification with the S. O. on Wednesday. Didn’t do as well as I would have liked but will try again another time.

So the big news is I apparently went back into A-fib sometime Thursday this week. I checked my self Thursday night and was in it. Got up for work Friday, checked and was still in it. The cardiologist office said I should got to the ER and I am still in the hospital. I will write more next week when I have time.
