Nothing interesting this week……………………………………………………

As always, first the chronology:

11/23/25 – Sunday – Up at 8AM. Kathy wasn’t feeling well so we blew off church. Did some chores in the kitchen and and went back to bed for a nap. Up for lunch. Down to do the blog then out to Gary’s for the afternoon get together. Home and picked up Kathy and over to Shelbyville for dinner at Cracker Barrel. Home and usual evening routine.

11/24/25 – Monday – Up at 6AM and off to work. Did family court today. Finished up around 1PM. Home and had lunch. Kathy was off to take Shelby to an orthodontist appointment. I took a nap. Then downstairs for some computer work till Kathy got home. Dinner and usual evening routine.

11/25/25 – Tuesday – Up at 6AM and off to work. Covered the door till Scott got there. Then we had probate, juvenile and district court all in one day. But they were all short dockets so I was done by Noon. Home, had lunch and a nap. Up and played radio awhile. Kathy made mashed potatoes and sauerkraut for dinner. Usual evening routine.

11/26/25 – Wednesday – Up around 8AM and helped Kathy with pies till lunch time. Had lunch then a nap. Up and down to the shack to play radio awhile. Dinner and usual evening routine.

11/27/25 – Thursday – Kathy was up early to start the turkey. I got up around 8AM, had breakfast and got cleaned up. Started loading things in the car to take to Julie’s. Up there by noon. Had dinner with us, the Rice family and Dee and Pablo. I left early around 4PM. Got home and played with the dogs. Had some cereal for dinner. Kathy got home around 6PM. We let things in the car for the night. Did some things in the kitchen to clean up then bed.

11/28/25 – Friday – Up a little late this morning as neither Kathy or I slept well. Then out to clean the church. Went for Mexican for a very late lunch. Home and put things away. Continued to work on cleaning things up. Had a snack for dinner, some chores and to bed.

11/29/25 – Saturday – Alarm went off at 8AM but I stayed in bed till 10 playing with the dogs and doing my exercises. Kathy was out shopping early this morning with Julie. I got up and went downstairs to start cleaning up some more. Kathy came home and we had a late lunch. Put some more clothes in the washer and decided it was nap time. Up around 4:30 and did some more clean up. Kathy came down and took some stuff for goodwill and some stuff for Julie. Up for dinner. Usual evening routine.

Now the particulars:

Not much to say this week. Most of my medical stuff got put on hold with everyone off on vacation. I worked. Monday and Tuesday. Otherwise not much going on there.

Of course it was the usual crap. I swear we are not doing this again next year but I remember saying the same thing last year. I think I’ll find somewhere that we can all just go for a meal and when done just walk out. No muss, no fuss.

As it was here, we did pies and got things ready for the green bean casserole on Wednesday. Then Kathy got up early Thursday morning and put the turkey in the roaster. Then just before lunch we loaded all the shit in the car and drove it up to Julie’s, then unloaded it. I don’t know what happened after all that, I took my on car and left after an appropriate amount of social time. It was good to Pablo as he doesn’t like to get out much. I was told a one point it was because he gets sick but I think lately it has been his fear of deportation. I understand his concern. He doesn’t speak English 100% but is more than intelligible. And he is a US citizen. But it is sad that he is afraid with all this shit going on.

Next week will be work every day. Of course Monday we don’t know what to expect as it is a trial. That means we could show up and the case is settled of it may take all day with lawyers arguing. Tuesday will be short as it’s just probate and juvenile. Wednesday will be long. Thursday is my usual day on the door then Friday is District court and should be a short day. More on that next weekend.
