Welcome to December………………………………………………………

As always, first the chronology:

11/30/25 – Sunday – Up at 8AM, cleaned up and out to church with Kathy. Home and had lunch. Downstairs and played radio till time to go to Gary’s for the afternoon get together. Home, picked up Kathy and up to the Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner. Home and usual evening routine.

12/01/25 – Monday – Up at 6AM and into work. Had a hearing this morning that lasted around an hour and a half. Home by 10AM and dressed down. Got a new pull over from the department to keep me warm. Cleaned up the apple pie as a snack then to bed for a couple hours sleep. Up and downstairs and did some computer work. Up for dinner and usual evening routine.

12/02/25 – Tuesday – Up at 6AM and into work. Had probate and juvenile court this morning. Was out by 11AM. Home, dressed down and had lunch. Took a nap for a couple hours. Up and helped with more Christmas decorations. Had dinner and usual evening routine.

12/03/25 – Wednesday – Up at 6AM and into work. Had circuit, civil and drug court today. Went out with some co-workers for lunch. Had a great time. Got off around 4PM. Home, had dinner and usual evening routine.

12/04/25 – Thursday – Up at 6AM and into work. Did my usual 7:30AM to 4PM on the door. I was suppose to get my hair cut after work but the girl that was to do it had a family issue and didn’t come in. I went home and dressed down. Kathy was as tired as I was so we went out for Chinese for dinner. Home and usual evening routine.

12/05/25 – Friday – Up at 6AM and into work. Had District court and got done around 12:30. Stopped on the way at the place I get my hair cut and she happened to be between people so I got it cut. Home, dressed down and had lunch. Then to bed for a nap. Up, showered and dressed to go see Shelby’s choir concert at 7PM. Out to Olive Garden after for dinner. Home and to bed.

12/06/25 – Saturday – Slept in then up and cleaned up to go in to the Palace Theater in Louisville to see Carter and Chloe perform in the Nutcracker in a Nutshell. Out to a Japanese restaurant after. Got home around 8PM and to bed.

Now the specifics:

If you read the chronology you’ll see I worked everyday this week. Not sure how much longer this will last but it’s getting a little old. But some of the days are rather short which makes it bearable. Next week I’m working 4 out of 5 and the same the week after. I’m sure it will slack off after the beginning of the year.

Got the results from my MRI. It was not good. But not the end of the world. Will need to do something soon, I’m getting tired of hurting. I suspect they will give me PT first. If so I hope it works. The other possibility is Spinal Injections. I’ve had that twice in the past and really can’t remember if they work. It seems to me the first set of three did wonders. Then I had another guy do the second set of three to avoid going into downtown Louisville and they didn’t work so well. They had me scheduled for January 7 to review the MRI and set a plan but I bugged them this week and got that back up to the 17 of this month. So I only have one more week till I find out what is next. I’ll keep you posted.

Had a busy weekend. Shelby’s choir concert was Friday evening and Carter and Chloe’s performance was Saturday. I feel like I haven’t stopped all weekend. Doesn’t look much better this coming week. Tuesday is the HAM club dinner/Christmas celebration and Thursday evening the CSOs at work decided to get together for their own celebration. Then all of the S.O. will have a party on the 19th which will be more of a political thing. But I’ll go for the free food.
