Another not so exciting week………………………………………………………

As always, first the chronology:

3/22/26 – Sunday – Up at 8AM and out to church. Home and lunch. A short nap then out to Gary’s for the afternoon get together. Home, picked up Kathy and in to Taylorsville to the Chinese restaurant for dinner. Home and usual evening routine.

3/23/26 – Monday – Up at 6AM and into work. Had family court this morning. Worked till lunch time. Home and had lunch. Didn’t do much the rest of the day. Some chores, dinner and bed.

3/24/26 – Tuesday – Up around 8AM and out to get my hair cut. Kathy was out shopping. I had lunch then a nap. Up and chores around the house.

3/25/26 – Wednesday – Up at 6AM and into work. Had Circuit court, a hearing and drug court. Got off at 4PM. Home and dinner. Some chores then usual evening routine and bed.

3/26/26 – Thursday – Up at 6AM and into work. Did my usual 7:30AM to 4PM on the door at the Circuit Court Clerks office. Home and picked up Kathy and up the hill to the Mexican restaurant. Home and usual evening routine.

3/27/26 – Friday – Up late this morning, around 10AM. Got cleaned up and did some chores around the house. Kathy went down to the church to do some cleaning so I had lunch then into St. Matthews for the shot in my knee. Home, dinner and usual evening routine.

3/28/26 – Saturday – Up late again. Spent most of the day working on taxes. Tried my back brace while in the house. Kathy went out shopping for some flower pots then over to Julie’s to color her hair. She got home late and we had dinner. Usual evening routine.

Now the specifics:

Not to busy at work this week. Next week will be hectic as it’s trial week so I’ll be in court a lot.

Had the shot in my knee on Friday. I think I expected everything to be great with no pain and all my strength back. Surprise, none of that happened. The paper I got said it would take 2 to 3 days for the shot to take effect so I’ll have to wait till Monday to see how it works. I still have two more to go. Not sure why they do it this way but so be it.

I tried the back brace that they gave me at spine and pain management. It was agonizing. It seemed to constrict my breathing and cause pain down my left leg. Perhaps I’m not wearing it correctly. I will take it with me the next time I go for an appointment and see if it needs adjusted.

I am way behind on getting the taxes done. I know the accountant will have to send in for a time extension. I just hope he has time to do that. Hopefully I’ll have that done and into him by next Friday.

It’s primary election time here in Kentucky. Unfortunately I know two of the people running for our district office this year. One came by and wanted to put his sign up and of course I told him he could. Later another of our friends stopped by and wanted to put up his sign. Of course we said yes again. Now the first guy stopped to asked me if I knew his opponent had put his sign up. I told him yes then he wanted to put another one of his up. I swear, these politicians around here are so childish. I hope there is a third option. They will get my vote.
