Another fast week. I don’t know where the time goes…………………………………….

As always, first the chronology:

11/12/23 – Sunday – Up at the usual time.  Cleaned up and out to church with Kathy.  Had lunch at the church.  Home and did the blog.  Then Kathy and I went over to Gary and Loretta’s.  I visited with Gary and Loretta visited with Kathy.  Left there around 4PM and to Mark’s Feed Store for dinner.  Home and usual evening routine.

11/13/23 – Monday – Up a little early today.  Cleaned up and out for a doctor’s appointment.  Kathy was off for physical therapy about the same time.  I got home around 10.  Made some phone calls and did some research about internet at our church.  Kathy did some shopping on the way home.  Got home around noon.  Helped her unpack the car and put things away.  Had lunch.  Practiced some code.  Upstairs for a nap.  My son-in-law Mike came by with the car he borrowed from us and I took him down to the auto shop to retrieve his.  Home and dinner.  Usual evening routine.

11/14/23 – Tuesday – Up at the usual time.  Really don’t feel super today.  Down and practiced my code and did some other chores in the shack.  Made a couple CW contacts.  Up for lunch.  Then to bed for a nap.  Up and out to put things in the Vibe that I took out of the Town and Country before I got rid of it.  Helped Kathy put a new cabin filter in her Equinox.  Dinner and usual evening routine.

11/15/23 – Wednesday – Up at the usual time.  Got cleaned up and took Kathy over for Physical Therapy.  I ran over to Lowes and Picked up a barbecue grill for Mike’s birthday and stopped at Harbor Freight.  Back and picked up Kathy.  Stopped for Mexican on the way home.  Did some chore then a nap.  Up and down for a Zoom class at 3PM.  Up for more chores and dinner.  Usual evening routine.

11/16/23 – Thursday – Up a little early this morning and out to get my hair cut.  Kathy was off to volunteer at the VA.  After my hair cut I went to ACE hardware and picked up a couple hose racks and some lag screws.  Home and down to the shack, Another cup of coffee and practice code.  Made a couple contacts with some folks in the QSY society I used to belong to in New York.  Then up for lunch.  Out to the Morton building and put up the hose racks.  Ran the portable generator and took the box apart I had the radios mounted in when it was in the Chrysler.  Finished up around 3:30PM.  In and waited for Kathy to come home.  Sat and chatted with her awhile.  She went for a nap and I went to the shack.  Up for dinner and usual evening routine.

11/17/23 – Friday – Up at the usual time.  Had an issue with the digestive system.  Probably a result of all Kathy’s Corn Casserole I ate last night.  Had to lay down awhile after that explosion.  Up and chores around the house.  Down to practice code.  Up for lunch.  Kathy took off for PT and grocery shopping.  I went to the shack and did some research and practice more code.  Then got on a Zoom class at 4PM.  Finished up at 5 and upstairs for dinner.  Usual evening routine.

11/18/23 – Saturday – Up at the usual time.  Out to clean up the barbecue grill we got at Lowes this week.  It was sitting outside and just needed to be wiped down.  Inside and some chores around the house.  Lunch then downstairs to the shack.  Practice some code then tried some contacts.  Bands were bad.  Did some computer research and tried the radio again and made a couple contacts.  Kathy was up to Julie’s to help her with some things.  She came back around 3:30 so we both decided to take a nap.  Up and dinner.  Usual evening routine.

Now the specifics:

A sad event this week. I fellow I worked with very closely lost his mother. JR was my steed when my dad passed away. He kept me on the straight and narrow. I only wish I was with him to listen to his problems today as he did many times for me.

Monday I had a routine doctor’s appointment. All the blood work was good and he didn’t see anything wrong so everything is status quo. That’s all good news.

Kathy has been doing the physical therapy thing three times a week. Not sure how things are going but I’m not going to ask.

Last week I got rid of the Chrysler Town and Country so I spent time this week going through all the crap I unloaded out of it and put some of it back in the Vibe.

My son-in-law’s birthday was this week. Kathy and I bought him a barbecue grill. I picked that up at Lowes while Kathy was at PT on Wednesday. That’s in the back of the truck and will be delivered this weekend.

Worked in the shop on Thursday getting things put together and organized. Hopefully I can get out there this coming week and work on the motorcycle some.

I made three Zoom classes on my CW adventure this week. Also passed my first formal written traffic on the CW traffic net. All is coming along. Slow but it’s coming.

Well it really doesn’t look like I did much but it was a busy week as always as of late. I just don’t know where the days go. I have so many things I want to do and just no time to do them. Oh well, one day at a time.
