Got a few things done…………………………………………………………….

As always, first the chronology:

5/18/25 – Sunday – Up and out to church with Kathy. Home and lunch. Into J-town to help with HAM testing at the Masonic Lodge. Home, picked up Kathy and up to Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner.

5/19/25 – Monday – Up early and out to an appointment at the Pain and Spine Management group in St. Matthews at 8:30. Home and chores around the house. Lunch and a nap. Then down to do the treadmill and other exercises. Got cleaned up and out to dinner with HAM friend Dave and his wife. Home and usual evening routine.

5/20/25 – Tuesday – Up at 8AM. Out to get my haircut at 9:30. Then over to Shelbyville for Physical Therapy at 10:30. Stopped at Arby’s for lunch. Kathy was at her woman’s group at church today. Got home and spent time with the dogs. Then a little nap till Kathy got home. Then some chores, Dinner and usual evening routine.

5/21/25 – Wednesday – Up at 6AM and off to work. Covered the handicap entrance from 8AM to 4PM. Home and some chores, dinner and usual evening routine.

5/22/25 – Thursday – Up at 6AM and off to work. Covered the Circuit Court Clerks office from 7:30AM to 4PM. Home, chores, dinner and usual evening routine.

5/23/25 – Friday – Up around 9AM this morning. Over to the Morton building, took the mower deck off the yard tractor and loaded it on the trailer. Took it over to the John Deere dealer to have them look at it to see why it’s blowing oil. Went to Arby’s for lunch. Home and put the trailer away. Inside and come chores then off to physical therapy at 3:30PM. Made a stop at Harbor Freight after PT then home. Dinner and usual evening routine.

5/24/25 – Saturday – Up at 8AM and out to do yard work. Since we only have the zero turn it took longer than usual. Finished about 5PM. Inside, cleaned up and had dinner. Usual evening routine.

Now the specifics:

Helped with HAM testing Sunday in J-town. Had two people test. One got his Technician Class license and the other upgraded to Extra. So it was a successful day.

Monday morning I had an appointment with my Pain and Spine management lady. She thought things were going well but increased one of my medications. She thought that would settle me down a little and improve the pain in my feet a little more.

We went out for dinner with some friends from our HAM club. Dave is the president of the club and his wife is very lovely. We had dinner at Drakes restaurant and Kathy and I had a good time visiting with them.

Wednesday this week Spencer, the drug dog of the Spencer County Sheriff’s Office, got special recognition from the Courts for his work in the drug court program. Friday and Saturday we did yard work. It was a slow process as a lot of the yard had to be mowed with the push mower as it was too wet for the zero turn to navigate. The fact we only had the one mower also slowed us down. But we got it done for the holiday weekend.
