Not an exciting week but some changes ………………………………………………………………………….

As always, first the chronology:

3/1/26 – Sunday – Up around 8AM. Cleaned up and off to church. Home and lunch. Over to Gary’s for the afternoon get together. Then over to Mike and Julie’s for burgers, dog and brats on the grill. Then home.

3/2/26 – Monday – Up around 8AM. Spent most of the day cleaning up in preparation for Kathy’s return from Pennsylvania. Took a break after lunch to go over to Shelbyville for PT. Kathy got home very late so we went to Hometown Pizza for a late dinner.

3/3/26 – Tuesday – Up at 6AM and off to work. Had a special hearing that lasted all of about 30 minutes. So I clocked in at 8AM and was done by 9:30. Home and spent most of the day helping Kathy get her stuff dragged out of the car and unpacked. Had a break for lunch and dinner.

3/4/26 – Wednesday – Up at 6AM and into work. Worked Circuit court from 8AM to noon. Then home, changed clothes then Kathy went with me to St. Matthews to get fitted for my back brace. Home, dinner and usual routine.

3/5/26 – Thursday – Up at 6AM and into work. Worked the Circuit court clerks office door from 7:30AM to 4PM. Home, nap, dinner and usual evening routine.

3/6/26 – Friday – Up very late this morning. Had a late breakfast. Got cleaned up and over to Shelbyville for PT. Home and late lunch. Down for a nap. Up and chores around the house. Dinner and usual evening routine.

3/7/26 – Saturday – Up at 8AM. Breakfast then exercises. Kathy had to go order some flowers for Carter and Chloe for the prom next weekend. I took some time with the dogs then lunch. Cleaned up the kitchen for Kathy. Then some computer work then down to the shack to repair a few things and play radio. Dinner and usual evening routine.

Now the particulars:

It was great having Kathy back home. Things are still rather sad in Pennsylvania. Not much of a very good outlook for my cousin/brother-in-law. My sister-in-law Judy is trying to manage herself but I’m sure it is over whelming as Lee did all the buying and banking. All with cash. No credit or debit cards which makes it very difficult to track expenditures and in turn for applying for assistance. But it is what it is and hopefully she does well.

Went to get my back brace Wednesday and it is rather worthless. It is designed to wear over your clothes and I certainly can’t do that while I’m working. I guess later when we start the yard work it will be helpful. I will spend some time trying to resize it and get it to work under my uniform but even Kathy thought that was unlikely.

I have been feeling rather well lately. The people at PT said I could quit if I wanted but I think there are still a couple things I can work out. So I still have two days next week then I might cut back to one day a week. I will take that one week at a time.

I got my gel shots scheduled for my knee. It seems they are going to give me three shots a week apart. This must be a new form of gel as I thought they used to give you one then wait a month. But I’ll take what I can get and hopefully they will resolve the knee issues. If not, I guess it’s a knee replacement. Time will tell.
