Now the specifics:
Spent a lot of time with the grandchildren this week. As things turned out we had them 3 times.
As you can see, they are growing up fast. I am teaching the twins how to drive the golf cart. They are doing very well. Carter is doing the best but both are hesitant to go across the bridge with it. Neither one has accepted the challenge of backing it into the garage.
Wednesday I made my final call to Anderson Power Equipment. Got a young lady named Melissa who really sounded like she knew her stuff. She assured me they had all the correct material I needed and I would get a refund for the Kohler tuneup kit they had sold me. So, Thursday after getting my hair cut I went up and as promised they had everything and gave me credit on the Kohler kit. I was still a little unsure but Saturday we went over to Mike and Julie’s and I did the tune up on the Exmark Zero Turn mower and everything worked well. Made up a maintenance log book for Mike to keep track of things and a cheat sheet of things to order when he wants to do the maintenance.
Got the pool up and running. It’s OK to swim but is still a little cloudy. Just need to adjust chemical balance and that should take care of that. Saturday I watched the grandkids while Kathy and Julie hauled stuff to Good Will. It was a little chilly but they wanted to go swimming so that’s what we did.
Thursday of course was my day for domestic chores. The least I can do for Kathy when she is watching the grand children so much. So I managed to do the laundry, clean the kitchen, get my hair cut and run up to Anderson Power Equipment (30 minutes both ways) all at the same time. Honestly, I don’t know what you woman are complaining about. lol
Well the knee jerk reaction of the politicians in regards to the COVID-19 has voting screwed up this year. They moved the primaries from May to June. Of course they can’t do the election officer training in person like they usually do. So they emailed us the manual, gave us a video to watch and then we have to sign a form that says we did it all. Since there will be little in person voting, Kathy and I are listed as alternates this year. Which means we won’t have to do anything unless someone gets sick or can’t make it for one reason or another.
That’s all the news from this neck of the woods. Hope this finds everyone safe and well. Be careful in these troubled times. Blog at you again next week.
