A very busy but worthless week………………………………………….

As always, first the chronology:

4/14/26 – Tuesday – Up around 8AM. Out to the Morton building to get the new chain saw ready. Did some other chores outside. Inside for lunch. Chores around the house. Went down for hair cut at 2:30. Home, dinner and usual evening routine.

4/15/26 – Wednesday – Up at 6AM and into work. This is trial week so we had a trial that started today and didn’t finish till Friday. Worked from 8AM to 5PM. Home, dinner and usual evening routine.

4/16/26 – Thursday – Up at 6AM and into work. Still working the trial today. 7:30AM to 4:30PM. Home, dinner and bed.

4/17/26 – Friday – Up at 6AM and into work. Still working the trial today. 8AM to 1:30PM and things are done. Home and into bed. Got up for dinner and back to bed.

4/18/26 – Saturday – Shitty day today. Didn’t do much but chores around the house and sleep.

Now the particulars:

This was trial week which means most court sessions are cancelled so we have a court room for a trial. It started Wednesday and finished up a little after lunch of Friday. Of course we knew the jury wouldn’t hand down a verdict till after they got fed. It wasn’t too bad as the guys I work with are willing to switch around so I’m not stuck on the door or stuck standing in the court room all day. But it was a long week getting up at 6AM four mornings out of five. Didn’t I retire ?????

About the only other things that happened was me getting the chain saw ready. My mower was back from maintenance Tuesday late and I got my hair cut Tuesday. That was it.

Well, a short but sweet story I guess. As always, hope this finds you safe and healthy. Stay that way and I’ll blog at you again next week.
