Not a lot happening this week…………………………………………………

As always, first the Chronology:

5/17/26 – Sunday – Up around 8AM. Got ready for church and out with Kathy. Had Pot Luck after church. Home and blew off going to Gary’s as Kathy wasn’t feeling well. She started feeling better as the day progressed. We didn’t go out for dinner just had late snacks. Usual evening routine.

5/18/26 – Monday – Up around 7AM and off to my appointment with Commonwealth Pain and Spine Management. Decided to start cutting back on some medication and she wants to see me again in 2 months. Home, changed clothes and out to start mowing the lawn. Finished up late afternoon. Inside for dinner and usual evening routine.

5/19/26 – Tuesday – Up at 6AM and into work. Worked the Circuit Court Clerks office from 7:30AM to 4PM. Home, a short nap. Dinner and usual evening routine.

5/20/26 – Wednesday – Up at 6AM and into work. Had the usual Circuit Court with Drug Court. Worked from 8AM to a little before 4PM. Home, a nap. Up for dinner and usual evening routine.

5/21/26 – Thursday – Up around 9AM. Kathy was already off to do her volunteer work at the VA. I did some research on the computer in the morning. Upstairs for a late lunch. Kathy came home and we took a nap. Up and chores around the house. Dinner and usual evening routine.

5/22/26 – Friday – Up a little late today. Went to the church with Kathy. She did the cleaning while I did some measuring to get the floor stripped and waxed. Finished up early afternoon and went to Subway for a late lunch. Home and put things away. A nap and up for a late snack for dinner. Usual evening routine.

5/23/26 – Saturday – Slept in this morning. Up and some chores around the house. Had lunch then down to the shack to work on an Allstar link problem. Finished up late afternoon. Up for a short nap and Kathy came in from outside. We had dinner then usual evening routine.

Now the particulars:

I swapped days on the door with my friend Scott. His wife was working the polls and his son was going to be home from school so he wanted to home to keep an eye on the boy. Didn’t make any difference to me if I worked Tuesday and Wednesday or Wednesday and Thursday. And, the big murder trial got cancelled and put on for a later date so all the days for the next two weeks that we would have had court are cancelled. So, I only have to work Thursdays for the next two weeks.

I told the PA at Commonwealth that I was having some issues that could be depression or medication. We agreed on the possibility of the Gabepentin doing some nasty things so we cut back to one pill a day for a week and then I’m suppose to stop it. I haven’t seen and big exciting changes as yet but I don’t know what the half life is so I don’t know when to expect to see changes. I’ll keep you posted. But something needs to change or I’m not going to make it another month plus till I get my knee operated on.

I can’t connect to my Allstar node. Yea, I know, what the hell is that. It’s not really important. What bothers me is that the problem has to be in the programming or the configuration files. I used to be able to look through them and find a problem in no time. I spent Thursday morning researching things and most of Saturday looking at the code and can not find the problem. It’s very frustrating to me. I guess this is when you know getting old sucks.

Sorry I don’t have anything else exciting for this week. I think it’s going to be quiet the next two weeks as well.
