Again, not an exciting week……………………………………

As always, first the chronology:

5/31/26 – Sunday – Blew off church and went to Gary’s in the afternoon. Had dinner with the Rice Family at the Yoki Buffet for dinner.

6/1/26 – Monday – Nothing exciting today. Kathy and I both worked on our Safe driving course.

6/2/26 – Tuesday – Up around 8AM and down to get my hair cut. Home and picked up Kathy. Went to Shelbyville and got new glasses and stopped at the bank for some cash. Then into Louisville and St. Matthews mall for Kathy to pick up a necklace and had lunch at El Napol. Stopped at Kroger for medication on the way home

6/3/26 – Wednesday – Kathy was out to take Shelby to a doctor’s appointment. I did some chores around the house. Kathy came home and we went to Taylorsville and Subway for lunch. Then to Country Mart for some shopping. On the way home Kathy got a call to go get Shelby at school because she was sick. Kathy dropped me off at the house and went up to get her. I continued with the safe driving course.

6/4/26 – Thursday – Up at 6AM and into work. Did my usual job on the door. Home at 4 PM, dinner and bed.

6/5/26 – Friday – Dug out a rose bush, did some trimming with the sting trimmer. Burned the crap in the garden. In for dinner and usual evening routine.

6/6/26 – Saturday – Out to mow the lawn. Did some trimming and put some things away. Had dinner then usual evening routine.

Now the specifics:

Not really much to add to what is in the chronology: I was excited to get my new glasses. I can see much better with them.

Shelby was playing sick on Wednesday. Her dad was very upset. Told her the next time she calls grandma to come get her she better be throwing up and have the shits. lol

Kathy has been pushing me to get outside and do work in the yard to build some strength up. Still limp a little but am doing the home exercises they gave me when I left PT.

Had a light day at work this week. Only work one day. Next week will be three day. Two days will probably be full days and the third day should be a short day.

5 weeks till I get a new knee. Very much looking forward to that. I am certainly not going to let the other knee get in this bad shape before I get it done.
