Week Ending 7/18/26

What a helluva week………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

As you probably have seen by now, this is not your usual post……………………………………………………………..

First let me say that July is the month my contract with WordPress comes due and it’s suppose to renew automatically. Well there have been several glitches this year and it hasn’t renewed even with my prompting it to. So, if this blog disappears I have no plan to continue doing it. Time will tell.

Well this time last week I was getting ready to gather my things and travel into Norton Brownsboro Hospital to have my knee replace. I was told the operation was a success and of course my wife filled me in on some of the details. They apparently put in two blocks, on in the leg and one in the back. They are suppose to wear off sometime withing 72 hours after the operation. I guess that happened but by that time you couldn’t tell the difference between pain, a little pain and/or no pain. They did give me some good drugs.

On Tuesday afternoon I got a visit by a PTA that didn’t like dogs. You can never trust someone that doesn’t like dogs. Everyday he was here (Twice this past week) he managed to piss me off somehow. Anyway, they provide in house PT for the first two weeks then transition to out patient PT. I already have it setup with the out patient folks over in Shelbyville. So I’ve had good days and I’ve had bad days. Kathy says I’m coming along OK and there is nothing to be concerned about. Time will tell.

I keep reminding her that she wanted to get back into nursing and she reminds me that she also wanted to be able to leave her patients in the facility when she got off work.

I’ve been asking how long this should take and I keep getting the answer that everyone is different. So I guess no one really know.

Well that about the summary for this week. Next week’s post will probably be short like this as well since I have no inclination to keep up with a chronology.

Blog at you next week. (Maybe)
