Need to do some thinking……………………………………

As always, first the chronology:

4/22/18 – Sunday – Up early and out to pick up Gary for church. Home and another coffee and bagel while reading the paper. Laid down for a nap till Kathy got home. Up around 12:30 and had lunch. Kathy took off to watch Carter play soccer. I went downstairs and started my blog. Out for the Sunday afternoon get together at Gary’s. Home and finished blog. Kathy came home and we had dinner. Gather garbage and took out. To bed, computer work, Big Bang and sleep.

4/23/18 – Monday – Up and out for Kathy’s 9AM doctor’s appointment. Then over to Jewish Medical Center to drop off Halter monitor. Down Preston Highway to pick up some nice Kielbasa for Jambalaya. Then home. Organized grocery shopping list and headed back out. Stopped at our favorite Mexican restaurant for lunch then to Kroger for grocery shopping. Home and put the truck away. Spent the next 3 hours working on Kathy’s computer. Got rid of all the crap she didn’t need so it would run faster. A light snack for dinner then down to my room to meet the guys on the radio. Did some computer work and paid bills. Then to bed, some TV and sleep.

4/24/18 – Tuesday – Up and over to pick up Gary. Went to Hobby Lobby to return an item and pick up some other things. Then to the AT&T mobility store to ask a few questions. Then to T-mobile to ask the same questions and a stop at Krispy Kreme for coffee and donuts on the way home. Had lunch then took a nap. A long nap. Got up in time for dinner. Just had a snack. Then to my room to meet the guys on the radio and do some computer work. Bed, some Big Bang, reading and sleep.

4/25/18 – Wednesday – Up and out for haircut. Home and down to my room to play radio. Bands were in bad shape so came up for lunch. Back downstairs and played radio and did some computer work till time to go get Gary for dinner at church. Home and tested out my new endoscope camera. To bed, computer work, Big Bang and sleep.

4/26/18 – Thursday – Up and started preparing to cook Jambalaya. Spent most of the morning and early afternoon preparing and cooking the Jambalaya. Put it up in freezer containers and put it in the freezer. I ate the left overs for lunch. Spent time this afternoon cleaning up the kitchen. Kathy left for a late afternoon doctor’s appointment. I went to my room and played radio and did some computer work. Kathy came home and it was too late to go out for dinner and for her to make bell practice. So I ran to McDonald’s and brought it home. Then down to meet the guys on the radio. Stayed and made the 2 meter FM net. To bed, computer work, some Big Bang and sleep.

4/27/18 – Friday – Up and out to Gary’s to watch them get a line through a tree. Had coffee and chatted awhile. Home and had lunch. Kathy had to go get Shelby and take her to the doctor’s. I went to my room and started some computer work. Trying to figure out a VOIP program. Kathy came home and we had dinner. Then to my room to play radio and do some computer work. Up to bed, TV, some reading and sleep (No Big Bang).

4/28/18 – Saturday – Up and chores around the house. Then out about 10AM and started mowing lawn. Finished up around 2PM. In and re-hydrated. Took a nap then up and showered. Had dinner then down stairs for computer work. Back upstairs to bed, Big Bang and sleep.

Now the specifics:

Three of the four test results came back on my cardiology workup.  All were good.  Same crap as before.  Still no idea why my blood pressure keeps going up and down.  I have an appointment this Tuesday so perhaps I’ll learn more then.

The usage on my blog this week is zero.  I do this for friends or perhaps myself.  I’m not sure.  Perhaps I need to re-think this things and if I want to continue with it.  I’ll let you know.

Gary and the guy I meet with on Sunday afternoons and have dinner with Wednesday evenings are starting to irritate the hell out of me.  Gary has this deal with his wife that the radio stuff stays in the barn but Gary finds it difficult to get out and up the stairs sometimes.  So, the objective was to put remote control on his radio.  I started to get things together and Mike decides to take off with it on his own.  Generally has little or no idea of how TCP works but is still insistent on doing it.  The whole thing just keeps aggravating me and of course neither Mike or Gary wants to listen to me.  So, I decided to stop going over on Sundays and just let it go.

Thursday this week I made Jambalaya.  It was good.  Made it with Kielbasa this time so that added some spice to things.  Called my friend Peggy back in New York to harass her about making it but they moved her schedule and she couldn’t answer the phone.  I was a little depressed that none of the usual crowd was around that used to like to come over and enjoy it.

OK, that’s it for this week.  Blog again next week, or maybe not.
