Now the specifics:
Spent a lot of time outside doing routine work on the pool and trimming back some brush along the fence line to make mowing easier. Kathy got an electric pole saw so I had to get the generator out and running since most areas where to far away to run extension cords.
Finally got around to doing the routine maintenance on the push mower. Realized the air filter was paper so I had to order that and I also order a fuel filter.
Got a notice that I’m on jury duty for the next 6 months. Have to call the night before court is in session to see if I need to report. Not too bad.
Had a nice ride on the motorcycle this week. Lately the weather has either been too hot or the humidity was too high. Got a break this week so I rode about 125 miles.
A lot of HAM activity this week. I did the paper work and did the studying to become a Volunteer Examiner (VE) for the ARRL. That gives me the ability to sit on testing panels and assist in the proctoring of people taking HAM radio exams. I also ran the 2 meter FM net for the local HAM club this week. Seemed to go well and I got a couple compliments.
This coming week we plan to take a couple days and travel down to Tennessee to visit a friend of ours from New York State. We plan to stay in a cabin at a State Park down there. Should be a nice break.
That’s it for this week. Hope all is well with everyone and hope you have a better week next week. Blog at you again next week.
